THREE  IMMUNITY BOOSTING TEAS

The need of the hour for all around the world is good immunity to one’s body.Here we have made three varieties of teas that not only enhances your immunity but also is refreshing and has  other health benefits too

LEMON TEA

Lemon tea can be consumed hot or cold as per your choice.It also
*Detoxifies your body
*Boosts your digestion
*Enhances your skin wellness

INGREDIENTS:

Lemon(small)   -1/2 sliced
Green tea leaves-1/2 tbsp
sugar syrup       -11/2 tbsp

METHOD:

  • In a pot add 11/2 cups of water  and the sliced lemon
  • When the water comes to a boil , add the green tea leaves,switch off the flame and cover the pot with a lid and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  • After 5 minutes strain the tea , add sugar or sweetness as per your taste buds
  • Serve hot /Cold

MINT TEA

Mint tea is very refreshing and also
*Helps to have a good sleep
* Fights bad breath
*Helps in weight loss
It tastes good hot or cold.

INGREDIENTS

Mint leaves                          -1/2 cup
ginger                                  -1/2 inch
green tea leaves                   -11/2 tbsp
sugar syrup                          -11/2 tbsp

METHOD:

  • In a pot add 11/2 cups of water  , when the water becomes warm add the crushed ginger and mint leaves.
  • When the water comes to a boil , add the green tea leaves,switch off the flame and cover the pot with a lid and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  • After 5 minutes strain the tea , add sugar or sweetness as per your taste buds
  • Serve hot /Cold

TULSI TEA

Tulsi Tea is made of tulsi leaves (Indian Basil or holy basil) and palm sugar(panangarkandu in tamil).In case of unavailability substitute with sweetener of your choice.This tea
*Relieves you from common cold and cough
*Relieves stress

INGREDIENTS:

Dried Tulsi leaves   – 1/2  tbsp
Palm sugar               -1 tbsp crushed

METHOD:

  • In a pot add 11/2 cups of water  and the dried tulsi leaves.
  • When the water comes to a boil , add the palm sugar(panangarkandu in tamil),switch off the flame and cover the pot with a lid and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  • After 5 minutes,Strain off the tea and serve hot
