Keema Matar

KeemaMatar

Ingredients:

Mutton keema(kothukari)                – 450 g


onion                                                – 2 cups finely chopped
tomato                                              – 1 sliced
ginger  chopped                               –  1  tbsp
peas                                                  – 1 cup
coriander powder                             – 1 tsp
cumin powder                                  –  1 tsp    
garam masala                                   – to sprinkle
coriander cumin powder                  – 1 tbsp
salt                                                    – to taste
ginger garlic paste                            – 1 tsp
cilantro                                              – to garnish
chilli powder                                     – 1 tsp
green chillies                                     – 3
turmeric                                            – 1/4 tsp


Method:

  • In a cooker heat 1 tbsp oil add chopped ginger  ,1 cup of chopped  onion ,turmeric.
  • add the keema,salt fry for 3 minutes adding coriander powder,cumin powder,chilli powder
  • add  desired  water  and pressure cook for upto 6 whistles +
  • In a pan heat 1 tbsp oil,ginger garlic paste and fry till raw smell goes off.
  • Now fry 1 cup chopped onion and slitted green chillies
  • Now add the cooked  keema add 1 tbsp of coriander cumin powder and the peas
  • after 5 minutes add the sliced tomatoes
  • cook until oil oozes out sprinkle garam masala and garnish with cilantro
  • Serve with paratha and Rice
