Rava kesari
Ingredients:
Sooji/rava                               – 1 cup
sugar                                       – 2 cup
ghee                                        –  4 tbsp
cashews                                   – 10 broken
raisins                                    – 10
cardamom powder                – 1 pinch
food colour                           – 1 pinch
Water                                     – 3 cups
Method:

In a pan pour 1 tbsp ghee and fry the cashews and raisins into golden brown

Remove and keep it aside

Again fry the rava in the same pan until you feel good aroma then remove and keep it aside

Now add the water and allow it to boil.

Add cardamom powder& food colour followed by rava

After two minutes add sugar too

Few minutes later when water is almost reduceddadd the remaining ghee and cashews and raisins and switch of the stove

Cover the lid for 5 minutes

Great tasting rava kesari is ready
