Beetroot pulav


 
 

Ingredients:

Basmathi rice – 1 cup

 

Beetroot -1 medium  (shredded )

onion – 1 sliced

ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp

pudhina – few 

cilantro – few 

whole garam – for tempering 

coriander powder – 1 tsp 

cumin powder – 1/2 tsp 

chilli powder – 1/2 tsp 

Ghee – 1 tsp 

Oil- 1tsp 

Method:

 
    • Heat Ghee in a cooker add the whole garam.
    •  Add sliced onion and when it turnsgolden brown add the ginger garlic paste
    • After the raw smell goes off add finely shredded Beetroot &pudhina. 
    • After two minutes add salt,chilli powder,coriander powder.

 
    • Fry until 3min. 
    • wash  rice and mix along with it
    • Add 2 cup of water and close the cooker.
    • Pressure Cook until a whistle and switch off.
        •  
    • Serve with Raitha.
