AlooGobi(dry)

AlooGobi

Ingredients:

Potato                     –    350 g(cut into cubes)
cauliflower             –    350 g(cut into florets)
onion                      –   11/2 finely chopped
tomato                    –   1 finely chopped
green chillies          –  3
ginger garlic paste  –  1 tsp
cumin seeds            –   1/2  tsp
turmeric                  –  pinch
coriander powder    –  1 tsp
chilli powder           –  1/2 tsp
amchur powder        – 1/2 tsp
salt                           –  to taste
kasoori methi           –  1 tsp
Garam masala          –  to sprinkle
cilantro                     –  to garnish
oil                             –  3 tsp

Method:

  • in a kadai heat oil add cumin seeds,ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder
  • Add the chopped onion,tomato,and green chillies and fry well
  • make a concotion of coriander powder,chilli powder,amchur powder and salt in water
add it after the onion tomato gets cooked well
  • After a while add crushed kasoori methi to it
  • stir well and add the cut potato cubes and cut cauliflower florets
  • Mix well and cover it with a lid and put it on a medium .
  • stir occasionally until its well cooked
  • 

sprinkle garam masala  and garnish with cilantro
Serve with rice or chapathi
