Kashmiri chicken

Ingredients:
Chicken-500 g
Cumin seeds-1tsp
Bay leaves-2
Salt-to taste
Kashmiri chilli powder-1 tsp
Fennel powder -1 tsp
Dry ginger powder-1 tsp
Beaten yogurt-1cup
Oil-2 tbsp
Cinnamon powder-1/2 tsp
Cloves,Cardamom-2
Garam masala-1/4 tsp

 Method:

In a kadai heat oil and allow cumin seeds to splutter and add bay leaves

Now add the cleaned and medium sized cut chicken into it and fry for 3 minutes
- Add the kashmirichilli powder,dry ginger powder,salt and fennel powder
- Fry for another 5 minutes
- Now beat the yogurt and pour to it along with 1 cup of water

allow it to boil and then cover it with a lid

cook until chicken is well done and sprinkle the cinnamon powder and garam masala

Now cover the lid for another minute until the aroma gets into it

Serve with Rice or naan
