Spicy Fish fry

Ingredients

Fish-1/2 kg

Salt to taste
oil -3 tbsp

For grinding:

Green chilli                       -2
chilli powder                     -1/4 tsp
pepper                                -1/4 tsp
kashmiri chilli powder      -1/2tsp
ginger                                -1/2 inch
garlic cloves                       -4
lemon juice/tamarind juice-2tbsp
Cumin powder                   -1/4 tsp

Method

  • In a blender grind all the ingredients given for grinding
  • In a bowl bowl mix the ground paste,salt and fish and marinate for 15  to 20 minutes.

  • Heat the tawa add 2 tbsp of oil place the fish for few minutes then flipturn into the other side ,add another one tbsp of oil and roast  well.
  • serve as a side rasam,sambar rice or as a starter
