Chicken Tikka Masala
Ingredients
for chicken tikkaÂ
Boneless Chicken -1 kg( cut into small cubes)
Chilli powder    -1/2 tsp
Coriander powder -1 1/2 tbsp
Cumin powder   -1/2 tsp
Garam masala    -1/2 tsp
Yogurt         – 3tbsp
Ginger garlic paste- 1tbsp
Food color(red) Â Â -pinch
Oil – 4tbsp
Salt -to taste
Onion -1 ( cut like cube)
Color Pepper -1
Tomato -1(without seeds)
Chilli powder    -1/2 tsp
Coriander powder -1 1/2 tbsp
Cumin powder   -1/2 tsp
Garam masala    -1/2 tsp
Yogurt         – 3tbsp
Ginger garlic paste- 1tbsp
Food color(red) Â Â -pinch
Oil – 4tbsp
Salt -to taste
Onion -1 ( cut like cube)

for gravy
chicken tikka              -1/4kgÂ
onion                          -1 (medium size chopped)
tomato                        -2 (medium size)
cashew nut                  -5nos
whole garam
chilli powder              -1/4tsp
kashmiri chilli powder-1tsp
coriander powder       -1 tbsp
cumin powder             -1/4 tsp
garam masala        -1/4tsp
ginger garlic paste       -1 tbsp
whipping cream/milk  -2tbsp (optional)
salt                               -to taste
oil                                 -3tbsp
Method
For gravy
-
Make a puree with tomato and cashews
- In a kadai heat oil and add whole garam .
- Add onion and cook well
- Add ginger garlic paste and stir until the raw smell goes off
- Now add the pureed tomato cashew paste.
- cook until oil oozes out.
- Â now add the chilli powder, coriander powder,cumin,garam masala ,salt and fry for 2 minutes
- add a  cup of water .
- When the gravy starts boiling add the chicken tikka to it and cook until the gravy gets thick.
- At this stage add cream / milk and cook for a  minute and switch off the stove garnish with coriander leaves.
- serve with chapathi ,naan,roti.
