Cashew chicken
Ingredients
Chicken                      -1/2kg
Tomato                       -1
Green chili                  -2
Chili powder               -1/2 to 1tsp
Kashmiri chili powder-1/2tsp
Kashmiri chili powder-1/2tsp
Coriander power         -21/2tbsp
Cumin powder           -1/2 tsp
Garam powder           -1/4 tsp
Ginger garlic paste     -1tbsp
Whole garam             -for tempering
Oil                              -3 tbsp
Salt                            -to taste
For grinding
Cahew nuts                   -15 to 20
Onion                            -1
Khus khus /poppy seeds-1tsp
MethodÂ

Heat a tsp of oil in a pan add the chopped onion and fry until the color changes.
                             Â
- Take little amount of hot water and add cashew nut and poppy seeds and soak them for 10 minutes.
- Â add the cooked onion,cashew,poppy seeds into the blender and make a fine paste.Â
               Â
-  Heat the oil in a pan add whole gram and add ginger and garlic paste and fry until raw smell goes off .  Â
                             Â
- add spice powders and fry for a mintue.Â

-  Then add tomato and green chili and saute well.
                                   Â
- Then add chicken and salt  mix well and cook.
                                Â
- When chicken is half cooked add the ground paste and little water (if you desire you can add more water for loose consistency)
- Â stir and cook until chicken is fully cooked and gravy gets thick.
                     Â
- Garnish with coriander leaves .
- Serve with chapathi/naan.
