Tomato Kurma/Thakkali kuruma
Ingredients:
Tomato                   – 3 cups finely chopped
onion                       -1 cup finely chopped
whole garam           -to temper
salt                          -to taste
ginger garlic paste   -1tsp
chilli powder           -1/2 tsp
garam masala          -pinch
coriander powder    -1/2 tsp
turmeric powder      -1/8tsp
oil                            -1tbsp

For grinding:
Shredded coconut    -1/2 cup
green chillies            -2
fennel seeds             -1/2 tsp
Method:

In a blender grind the ingredients for grinding into a smooth paste adding little water.

In a pan heat oil and temper with whole garam

Add onion and fry until transparent.

Add ginger garlic paste and turmeric until raw flavor goes off.

Add finely chopped tomatoes and mix well.

Add coriander powder,chilli powder salt and cover it with a lid.

Cook until tomatoes are mushy and add the ground paste to it.
