Kothavarangai vathal/Dried Cluster beans

Ingredients:

Kothavarangai/cluster beans           -150 g
salt                                                   -2 tsp
water                                                -1/4 cup

Method:

  • Cut both the edges of kothavarangai/cluster beans
  • In a microwave safe bowl  put the kothavarangai/cluster beans with  water and salt.

  • Cook in microwave for 5-7 minutes /you can also cook in stove top until the cluster beans is cooked completely.

  • Drain any excess water .Keep spreaded and allow it to dry for 2 -3 days(do not keep in direct sun)

  • Store it in an air tight container.
  • When needed fry in hot oil


  • Serve as side with any Rice dishes
