Mutton rezala
Mutton rezala is a bengali dish in which mutton is cooked in yogurt based gravy.
Ingredients:
mutton         – 400 g
shallots paste    -1/2 cup
onion rings      -1 medium
ginger garlic paste-21/2 tsp
green chillies     -8
beaten yogurt    -1 cup
salt             -to taste
oil             -1 tbsp
cinnamon       -1 ‘
cloves          -2
cardamom       -1
To grind:
Preparation time:40 min
Cooking time   :40 min
Method:
-  Marinade the mutton with shallot paste, chopped green chili ginger garlic paste,oil and salt and refrigerate it for at least an hour.

- Soak poppy seeds and cashew nuts in  water for 30 minutes.
                               Â
- Blend it into a  smooth paste
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker  and temper with cinnamon,cloves,cardamom and red chili.
- Add the marinated mutton and fry until the raw smell goes off.
- Then add onion rings .

- once onion gets cooked add beaten yogurt and ground paste.
