MAC N CHEESE WITH BROCCOLI AND CHICKEN
INGREDIENTS:
Macaroni pasta-200 g(2 cups)
cheddar cheese-11/2 cup
onion -1 finely chopped
butter -11/2 tbsp
chicken -150 g
broccoli-150g
wheat flour -11/2 tbsp
milk -11/2 cup
salt -to taste
pepper -to taste
mustard powder-1/2 tsp
cheddar cheese-11/2 cup
onion -1 finely chopped
butter -11/2 tbsp
chicken -150 g
broccoli-150g
wheat flour -11/2 tbsp
milk -11/2 cup
salt -to taste
pepper -to taste
mustard powder-1/2 tsp
Method:
- In a pot ,boil water and add oil,salt,macaroni pasta to it.
- Three minutes before the pasta is about to get cooked,add the broccoli .(you can cook broccoli separately also)
- Once the broccoli and macaroni pasta is well cooked ,strain off the water and keep it aside.
- In a pan heat oil , add chopped onion and sauteÂ
- Once it turns translucent, put in the chicken with adequate salt and pepper.
- Cook until the chicken is well done .Remove and take it off , keep it aside.
- To the same pan(or separate pan) add butter.
- When the butter melts, add the flour and stir it in until it turns to a sandy consistency.
- Then pour in milk ,stirring continuously without lumps being formed.
- When the sauce thickens, add cheese ,adequate salt and pepper.
- When the cheese melts ,put the cooked macaroni,broccoliand chicken.
- Stir well until the sauce coats .
- Serve hot!!
