Grilled Paneer Salad Recipe | Healthy, Delicious & Protein-Rich

Ingredients:

  • 3 blocks of paneer (75g each)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp red chili flakes
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 large carrot (shaved)
  • 1 yellow bell pepper (cubed)
  • 1 large Bangalore tomato (cubed)
  • 1 heaped cup chopped lettuce

Salad Dressing:

  • ¼ tsp chili flakes
  • 3 tsp honey
  • Juice of ½ lemon (deseeded)
  • Adequate salt
  • ¼ cup olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the paneer – Mix paneer with seasonings and olive oil. Set aside.
  2. Prepare the veggies – Shave carrots using a peeler i used kai peeler, chop bell pepper, tomato, and lettuce.
  3. Make the dressing – Whisk together chili flakes, honey, lemon juice, salt, and olive oil.
  4. Grill the paneer – Cook it on an electric grill until smoky red. I used my Nova Electric Grill which has been my kitchen friend since 8 years
  5. Assemble the salad – Toss veggies with dressing, top with paneer, and enjoy!

For an extra touch, sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top—it adds a delightful umami flavor and is rich in calcium.
