The atmosphere here is serene and filled with devotion, as devotees offer their prayers and seek blessings. The temple is renowned for its musical pillars in the Mani Mandapam. When struck, these pillars produce musical notes, demonstrating a remarkable feat of ancient engineering and artistry.**Adjacent Shrines and Sacred Spaces**Next to the Nellaiappar shrine is the Kanthimathi Amman shrine, dedicated to Goddess Parvati.
