In Episode 4, we are excited to bring you a beautiful and nutritious Sweet Potato Salad made in an Indian style. This easy, colorful, and wholesome salad comes together in just a few minutes and is packed with flavors that are refreshing and satisfying.

  • 2 cups cooked and cubed sweet potatoes (for energy)
  • ½ cup cubed cucumber (hydration)

  • 3 tablespoons chopped onions (detoxification)
  • ½ cup pomegranate seeds (antioxidants)

    We used the handy iBell Multipurpose Cooker to steam the sweet potatoes quickly while preserving all nutrients.
  2. Assemble the Salad:
    In a large salad bowl, combine the cooked and cubed sweet potatoes, cucumber, red bell pepper, carrots, onions, pomegranate seeds, boiled peanuts, and cilantro.
  3. Make the Dressing:
    In a small bowl, whisk together cumin powder, black salt, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  4. Toss and Serve:
    Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients. Gently toss everything together so that each piece is evenly coated.
