Thai chicken mushroom soup

Ingredients:

Chicken                      –        100 g(boneless)
button mushrooms      –        6
onion                            –        1/2 diced
ginger                           –        1 tbsp chopped
green chillies               –      2
coconut powder           –       2 tbsp
cilantro                       –        finely chopped
butter                         –         1 tbsp
salt                              –         to taste
pepper                         –          to  taste
cornflour                     –         2 tsp

Method:

  • In a kadai heat butter add chopped ginger and fry for a minute
  •  add the cleaned and cut chicken cubes and green chillies and fry for few minutes
  • Now put the mushrooms,onions,salt and 4 cups of water and cover with a lid
  • Allow it to get cooked for 30 minutes on a low flame
  • now open and add the coconut powde and cornflour
  • The soup starts thickening and nice aroma comes out
  • Add  the chopped cilantro
