Beet Roti

Ingredients:

FOR RED ROTI
wheat flour          –     2 cups
salt                       –     to taste
Beetroot               –         200 g(approx)
oil                         –       1 tsp

FOR GREEN ROTI:
Wheat flour          –          1/2 cup
mint leaves            –         1/4 cup
cilantro                  –         2 tbsp
salt                         –         to taste

Method:

  • Peel the beetroot skin a nd chop into fine pieces
  • blend it in a mixer
  • in a large bowl mix 2 cups of wheat flour ,salt,oil and the blended beetroot and make a soft dough
  • Similarly blend mint leaves and cilantro in a mixer and make a soft dough using 1/2 cup of wheat and desired salt.
  • Make patterns of your creativity and roll the balls into different shapes too

Now  roll the balls into a flat layer to make a roti

In a hot tawa flip the roti and both sides until it gets cooked on both sides and serve with any  raitha or gravy
