Beans and Carrot poriyal

Ingredients:Â
Beans- 150g
Carrot –Â Â 100 g
Chilli powder-1/2tsp
mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
shredded coconut – 1 tbsp
Chopped onion –Â Â Â Â 2tbsp
salt – to
taste

Methods
Wash and cut the carrots and beans into cubes.
In a pan heat oil and allow mustard seeds to splutter.
Â
Add curry leaves and add onion and little salt. Â
Once onion is transparent add carrots and beans and desired salt.
Â
Sprinkle little water in between and fry until well cooked
Add chilli powder,cumin powder cook it 3 min .
Â
Then add the Shredded coconut (coconut powder) to it and finish off.
Â
Serve with rice and dhal
