Collard greens curry

Ingredients:
Collard greens                   – 1 bunch
onions                               – 1/4 cup chopped
red chillies                        –  3 -4
mustard seeds                   – 1/2 tsp
urad dhal                         – 1/2 tsp
cumin seeds                    – 1/2 tsp
salt                                   – to taste
oil                                     – 2 tsp
shredded coconut             – 2 tbsp

Method:

Wash the collard greens and cut the leaves finely (donot use the stem)

In a pressure cooker heat oil and temper with mustard seeds,urad dhal,cumin seeds and red chillies

Add the onion and fry until it turns transparent.

Now put the chopped collard greens into it and stir it for a while

Add 1/2 cup water and salt and pressure cook upto 1 whistle

After the pressure goes off add 2 table spoon of shredded coconut to it
-



cook for another 2 minutes
