Semiya bhath/Vermicelli bath
 Ingredients:
Semiya/vermicelli             – 1 cup
onion                                 – 1/2 sliced
tomato                                – 1/2 sliced
ginger garlic paste             – 1 tsp
carrot                                 – 1/2 cup
green peas                         – 2 tbsp
bell pepper                         – 1 tbsp
chilli powder                    – 1 tsp
salt                                    – to taste
whole garam    Â
cilantro                             – to garnish
Method:

In a pan heat oil and add the whole garam

Now add the sliced onion

Once it turns transparent add the gingergarlic paste
-
Once the raw flavour goes off add the sliced tomatoes

Now add the chopped carrots and green peas
-
After two minutes add salt,chilli powder

Again fry for another 3 minutes and add 2 cups of water

Put the semiya/vermicelli to it and cover it with a lid
-
Cook until semiya/vermicelli is done

Garnish with cilantro
-
Serve hot as a maincourse or with kara chutney
