Semiya bhath/Vermicelli bath

 Ingredients:

Semiya/vermicelli              –  1 cup
onion                                  – 1/2 sliced
tomato                                –  1/2 sliced
ginger garlic paste              –  1 tsp
carrot                                  – 1/2 cup
green peas                          –  2 tbsp
bell pepper                         –  1 tbsp
chilli powder                     –  1 tsp
salt                                     – to taste
whole garam     
cilantro                              – to garnish
oil                                      –  2 tsp

 

Method:

  • In a pan heat oil and add the whole garam
  • Now add the sliced onion

  • Once it turns transparent add the gingergarlic paste

  • Once the raw flavour goes off add the sliced tomatoes

  • Now add the chopped carrots and green peas

  • After two minutes add salt,chilli powder

 

  • Again fry for another 3 minutes and add 2 cups of water

  • Put the semiya/vermicelli to it and cover it with a lid

  • Cook until semiya/vermicelli is done
  • Garnish with cilantro
