Coconut thogayal
Ingredients
Coconut               -1 cup (shredded or powder)
uradal                   -1 or 2 tbsp
Channadal            -1 tbsp
red chili                – 4
tamarind              -little
garlic                   -2 cloves
Hing                    -1/4 tsp
salt                       -to taste
for tempering
oil                -1tbsp
mustard seed-1/4tsp
curry leaves  -few
Method
- Heat 1/2 tbsp of oil in a pan and add the ingredients in order uradal ,channadal, red chilli, hing,garlic tamarind then coconut and roast the all ingredients and keep it aside.
- Once it cools down put into Blender and add salt and grind finely.
- Heat 1/2 tbsp of oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and curry leaves .Then add the ground paste and mix well for a minute .Switch off the stove.
Your Coconut thogayal is ready to serve with rice or idli , dosa.
