Turkey chilli roast

Turkey chilli roast is a real treat starter /side for  spice lovers.Turkey is marinated with spice powders and deep fried in hot oil.Then it is coated with a spicy sauce .

Ingredients:

For marinating:

Boneless turkey breasts  – 600 g
salt                                  – to taste
chilli powder                  – 2 tsp
chilli vinegar                  – 1 tsp

For grinding:

Onion                   -1/2
ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
green chillies      – 2-3

For sauce:

Onion                – 1 finely chopped
tomato               –  1 finely chopped
curry leaves       – few
dark soy sauce   – 1 tsp
salt                     – to taste
oil                      – to  fry

Preparation time:10 min +1 hr marinade 
Cooking time      :25 min

Method:

  • marinade turkey with the ingredients for marinating for  at least an hour.
  •  Fry the turkey until it turns golden and remove and keep it aside.

  • Grind the ingredients  given for grinding into a paste.

  •  In a pan heat oil and add the finely chopped onions.

  •  add the ground paste and curry leaves.

  • cook until the raw flavour goes off.
  • Follow it with tomatoes and desired salt.

  • cook until it becomes mushy
  • Add the dark  soy and fried turkey

  • Stir well to coat the turkey with the sauce

  • Garnish with cilantro

  • Serve as an appetizer or side to any maincourse.
