Coconut milk muruku/thengai paal murukku
Ingredients
Rice flour                –           4 cups
Moong flour           –           3/4 cup
Butter                      –            6 tbsp
Hot oil                     –            4 tbsp
Coconut milk          –              3/4 cup (thick)
Sugar                      –             1 tbsp
salt                           –            to taste
oil                            –            to deep fry
Method:

To make moong flour,

Take a pan and dry roast approximately 3/4 cup of  moong dal until nice aroma comes out.

once it gets cooled down blend it into a fine powder. Sieve the powder and measure it to 1 cup

- Take a big bowl and put the rice and moong flour and mix it together.
- Add salt to taste.
- Take a small pan heat butter once it melts and begins boiling switch off the stove and pour hot butter into the flour mixture.
- Then in a big frying pan heat oil for deep frying.
- Once it gets hot take a medium size spoon full of oil and pour into the flour mixture and mix well
- Take a bowl heat the coconut milk and 1 tbsp spoon of sugar and mix well .
- And add (if u need add some water )to the mixture to make a smooth dough. little sticky dough is a perfect texture.
- Take a little dough and put into murukku squeezer.
- Press it into hot oil into murukkus and fry until golden.
- Serve it as a snack.
