Tofu Canapes(Korean cuisine)
Ingredients:
Tofu              – 350 g
red chili sauce-Â 1 tsp
soy sauce       –  1 tbsp.
spring onion   – 11/2 tbsp finely  chopped
honey             – 1/2 tsp
sesame seeds – 1 tsp
oil                  – 1-2 tbsp.
Method:
- Drain the tofu and cut it into slices like in picture.
- In a bowl mix chopped spring onion, red chili sauce soy sauce , honey.
- In a pan dry roast the sesame seeds until it pops up.
- Mix the sesame seeds and make a sauce.
- In a pan heat oil and shallow fry the tofu on both sides until golden.
- Arrange fried tofu and apply sauce on one side and put another fried tofu over it.
- Serve as an appetizer.
