Egg in yogurt sauce

Ingredients:  

Hard boiled eggs            – 5
yogurt                            – 3 tbsp
besan                              -1/2 tbsp
kashmiri chilli powder    -11/2 tbsp
coriander powder           – 11/2 tsp
amchur powder              – pinch
salt                                 – to taste
onion                              -1/2 finely chopped

ginger garlic paste          – 1 tsp
curry leaves                    – few
hing                                 – pinch
oil                                    -2 tsp




Method:

  • Cut hard boiled eggs into halves and keep it aside.
  • In a bowl mix yogurt,besan, kashmiri chilli powder, amchur powder,coriander powder and salt together and keep it aside


  • In a kadai heat oil and fry  ginger garlic paste along with curry leaves until translucent.

  • Add turmeric and hing.Follow it with onions and fry until translucent.


  • Now pour the yogurt mixture and cook well until it thickens and oil oozes out.


  • Once oil leaves the sides add adequate water and arrange the halved hard boiled eggs .


  • With the spoon spread the curry over the top of the eggs too.

  • Cover the lid and cook for few more minutes until the egg gets coated well and the gravy reaches the desired consistency

  • Serve over Rice.
