Cauliflower Rajma masala
Ingredients:
Cauliflower           -1Â
rajma/Red kidney beans-1/2 cup
onion                – 1 large finely chopped
tomato               -3 medium finely chopped
ginger garlic paste      -11/2 tsp
salt                 -to taste
chili powder          -1-11/2 tsp
turmeric             -little
cilantro             -to garnish
oil                 -1 tbsp
To temper:
mustard seeds          -1 tsp
black split gram/urad dhal-2 tsp
cumin seeds            -1 tsp
cumin seeds            -1 tsp
chana dhal/bengal gram   -1 tbsp
curry leaves            – few
Method:
- Wash and cut cauliflower into tiny sized florets.
- Pressure cook red kidney beans with adequate water for an whistle.
- In a kadai heat oil and allow mustard seeds to splutter.Temper with the remaining ingredients to temper.
- Add ginger garlic paste and fry until the raw flavor goes off.
- Fry onions until golden brown.
- Add desired salt and chili powder.
- Follow it with chopped tomatoes.
- When tomatoes become mushy,add cauliflower  florets.
- cover and cook until half done.
- Then add the cooked red kidney beans.Cover and cook over medium .
- Stir occasionally opening it.Cook until cauliflower is well done.
- Garnish with cilantro.
- Serve with Rice/Chapathi
