Spring onion pulav
Ingredients:
basmathi rice        -11/2 cup
chopped spring onions-1 cup heaped
onion              -1/2 sliced
cinnamon           -1′
clove              -2
bay leaf            -1
fennel seeds        -1/4 tsp
cashews           -15
star anise          -1
garic cloves         -2
salt               -to taste
ghee              -2 tsp
green chili          -4
Ghee              -3 tsp
Preparation time:10 min
Cooking time    :25 min
Method:
- Soak Basmathi Rice for 15 minutes.
- In a pot heat ghee and temper with cinnamon,clove,star anise,bay leaf & fennel seeds.
- Fry the whole cashews until light golden.
- Fry the sliced onions ,slit green chili  and garlic and cook until transparent.
- Add 3 cups of water.
- When it starts boiling add salt and drained Rice..Cover and cook it.
- Simultaneously take a pan heat ghee and fry chopped spring onions until the raw flavor goes off.
- Add the fried spring onions  to the cooked  Rice.
- Carefully mix it .Spring Onion pulav is ready
- Serve with any spicy veg /Non veg curry of your choice
