Welcome, fellow travelers! Today, we embark on a journey aboard the Tejas Express, an exciting experience from Madurai to Chennai. I’m thrilled to take you along on this adventure, so let’s dive right in.

We arrived at Madurai Junction around 2:30, the hustle and bustle of the station signaling the beginning of our journey. The digital display boards provided clear information about which platform our train, the Tejas Express, would be departing from.

Making our way towards platform C, we eagerly anticipated the adventure ahead. However, as we approached our compartment, C11, we found the access closed. Undeterred, we decided to make the most of our time by grabbing some snacks right there on the platform – chips and biscuits it was!

Around 2:50, the access door swung open, granting us entry into the train. Inside, we were greeted by a well-organized seating arrangement. The seats were comfortable, and we were delighted to discover the availability of both Wi-Fi and power plugs.

As we settled into our seats, we noticed the thoughtful provision of newspapers in both Tamil and English, ensuring passengers were well-informed throughout the journey. However, it wasn’t all smooth sailing; a surprising encounter with a cockroach briefly interrupted our excitement.

The first hour of our journey was spent munching on snacks and marveling at the lush green landscapes passing by. The Tejas Express truly offered a picturesque view of the countryside.

Feeling peckish again, we decided to explore the culinary options available on board. Using the IRCTC app, we effortlessly placed an order for our desired meals. Instructions were clear and user-friendly, making the entire process a breeze.

With our meal on its way, we decided to kick back and relax. The next hour passed in a pleasant blur as we caught up on some much-needed sleep.

As we approached Trichy station, our ordered food arrived promptly.
