Today on the Bake n Make Series, we’re creating something truly comforting, cheesy, and absolutely guilt-free — Oven-Baked Potato Tots with Parmesan Cheese. These golden little bites are perfect for kids’ snack boxes, parties, or cozy evenings curled up with your favorite book and chai.
They’re crispy on the outside, soft inside, and packed with cheesy flavor — without the mess or calories of deep frying.
Pressure cook the potatoes for 6 whistles. Let them cool completely before peeling and grating for a fluffy, light texture.
In a bowl, combine grated potatoes, salt, pepper, chili flakes, Parmesan cheese, and corn flour. Mix gently and knead into a soft dough.
Rest the mixture for 5 minutes. Then shape into small cylindrical tots — roughly finger-sized.
Preheat oven to 200°C. Brush your tray lightly with oil (you can use a silicone baking brush for even coating). Arrange the tots and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve hot with your favorite dips — ketchup, mayo, or chili garlic sauce. These are perfect movie-night companions or after-school treats!
