In Hot wax the wax cream is heated and can be applied using a spatula whereas cold wax is always in a ready to use form
- Cold wax is less painful compared to hot wax but it doesnt pull the hair at one attempt because cold wax doesnt adhere to the hair sometimes and results in cutting the hair instead of pulling whereas in hot wax all hair is pulled off at the very first pull.So make sure repeated pulling on the same skin area will not make redness..
- Hot wax cannot be applied to the upper lips,eyebrows because the skin is so sensitive there so cold wax is better in those kind of areas because strips are available with different shapes and size
- Cleaning the skin after waxing is easy in cold wax compared to hot wax
Either wise make sure that you dont apply any lotions and perfumes or do hot water bath for upto 10 hours after waxing
