Pagarkai / Bitter Gourd-3
Chopped onion            -1 to 2 tbsp
Green chilli                  – 1
Garlic                           -3
Chili powder                -1/2 tsp
Cumin powder              -1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds               -1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds                 -1/2 tsp
Curry leaves                  -few
Coconut powder         -2 tbsp
Method:
- Heat 2 to 3 tablespoon oil in a pan and temper with mustard seeds,cumin seeds and curry leaves.
- Add the crushed garlic and the onion and fry till its raw smell goes off.
- Add chopped pakargai/bitter gourd and salt cook it until it is done.
- After that put chili powder and cumin powder mix well and cook for another 3 minutes on medium
Then add the coconut powder or shredded coconut.Stir it well and cook for another minute .
- serve with rice.
