Tofu Paratha

Tofu Paratha

Ingredients:

Tofu                          –   400 g
Wheat flour              –   21/2 cups
salt                            – to taste
gongura pickle          – 1 tbsp
cilantro                     – finely chopped (little)
cumin seeds              – 1/4 tsp
oil /ghee                     –  little

Method:

  • Drain the water from tofu and crumble it into pieces on a plate.

  • In large bowl mix wheat flour,gongura pickle(you can use your desired pickle too with no lumpy pieces we prefer gongura for the tangy flavour),desired salt,cumin seeds and cilantro

  • Add crumbled tofu to it and make a soft dough by kneading without adding any water(water in tofu is enough
    )
  • Now make into equal sized balls and dust it in dry wheat flour
  • Roll into circles with the rolling pin like in below pic.

  • Heat tawa and make the parathas flipping it on both sides until both sides ges cooked evenly golden drizzling ghee/oil around the sides

  • Serve with any veg or non veg accompaniment
