Milagu kuzhambu/pepper curry
Ingredients
Onion      -1 (Chopped)
Tamarind -lemon size
Roast and Grind
Pepper corn-1 tbsp
Red chili    -4
Toor dal     -1 tsp
Urad dal      -1tsp
Curry leaves-few
oil               -1tsp
for tempering
Oil                 -2 tbsp
Mustard seeds-1tsp
Hing              -1/2tsp
Method
- Take tamarind juice.
- Heat a pan and roast the ingredients in Roast and grind. Allow it to cool off and then make a paste.
- Heat the oil in a pan add tempering ingredients and add chopped onions.
- Once onion turn into golden brown then add ground paste and saute them.
- Then add tamarind juice and salt.
- And boil until oil oozes out.
- Then switch off the stove serve with rice/idli/dosa.Â
