Karuvepillai kuzhambu/curry leaf curry
Ingredients:
Curry leaves/karuvepillai       -11/2 cup
small onion                             -10
garlic                                        -8
mustard seeds                         -1/4 tsp
fenugreek seeds                      -1/4 tsp
sesame oil                                -2 tbsp.
salt                                           -to taste
tamarind paste                         -21/2 tsp
For roasting and grinding:
chana dhal                               -11/2 tsp
urad dhal                                 -11/2 tsp
coriander seeds                       -2 tsp
cumin seeds                            -1 tsp
red chili                                   -1
peppercorns                             -11/2 tsp
Method:

In a pan heat oil and roast the ingredients for roasting and grinding until golden. Transfer it to a bowl  and allow it to cool.

In the same pan fry the curry leaves for 2-3 minutes. Transfer to the same bowl.

Now transfer all into a blender and grind into a powder. Add tamarind paste and little water to it now and grind it into a smooth paste.
