Hotel Novotel OMR Chennai – Honest Review & Room Tour

If you’re planning a stay in Chennai and seeking a comfortable, modern hotel with fantastic amenities, Hotel Novotel OMR Chennai is a great option to explore. In this post, we share an honest review and a detailed room tour of our experience.

Reception & Arrival Experience
The reception area welcomes you with minimalist décor and an elegant touch. What stood out was the presence of segregated trash bins for waste management—a thoughtful and eco-conscious initiative.

Room Tour – Fourth Floor
Access to the elevator and the room requires a key card for added security. After a tiring train journey, walking through the peaceful hallway was a soothing start to our stay.

Upon entering our room, the washroom was on the right—clean and well-stocked. To the left, we found a mini dressing table with a mirror, an iron box, a board, and a wardrobe with hangers.

A double-doored cupboard near the mirror featured a number-lock safe—though one side of the cupboard was just decorative. The bedroom itself was cozy with warm lighting, a king-sized bed, a diwan-style sofa, and a work desk with a TV. They also provided water bottles, a coffee maker with tea and coffee essentials, and a mini-fridge.

Amenities – Pool, Gym & More
The rooftop pool was refreshing and perfect for a relaxing swim. The gym was spacious, equipped with modern workout machines, ideal for fitness lovers. Kids aren’t left out either—a play space offers toys, carrom, chess, and even an Xbox.

Dining Experience
On the ground floor, there’s a small bar area and a dine-in buffet—though no complimentary breakfast was included in our booking which was a mjor setback of booking this hotel. The in-room dining menu was extensive and a bit expensive, but we chose to eat outside.

A lovely touch was the welcome dessert, which was delicious and a sweet gesture from the hotel.

Overall, Hotel Novotel OMR Chennai delivers a comfortable stay with ample amenities—perfect for families, business travelers, or a weekend getaway.
