Tomato Chutney



Ingredients

For grinding

Tomato        -4
Onion          -1/2
Red chilli      -3
Garlic           -3 cloves

For tempering:

salt                -to taste
oil                  – 1 tbsp
mustard seed  – 1/4 tsp
urad dhal        – 1/4 tsp
curry leaves    – few

Method

  • Grind all the ingredients  given above for grinding into a smooth paste
  • Heat the oil and allow mustard seeds to splutter and add curry leaves
  • then add  the ground paste  with desired salt
  • cook for about 5 minutes until the oil oozes out
  • Serve with idli ,dosa or chapati.
