Trivandrum Travel Diaries: Day 3

Hey fellow travel lovers! Welcome back to our travel diary. Today, let’s chat about Day Three of our adventure – a day filled with shopping, delicious food, and a bit of unexpected rain!

So, our morning started by saying goodbye to our comfy room at Apollo Dimora. If you haven’t checked out our hotel review, the link’s in the description – worth a read, promise!

Our first stop was Lulu Mall in Cochin – one of the biggest malls in Asia. Now, from the outside, it seemed normal, but once we stepped in, whoa! The parking lot was huge, and we realized this mall was no joke. It took us a bit to find our way around because the place was massive! Pro tip: remember which floor you’re on!

Inside, it was like a shopping dream. White everywhere, sunlight streaming in – just beautiful. If you love shopping, this mall is your happy place. Clothes, shoes, body care – you name it, they’ve got it! We did a lot of window shopping because, after two days of spending, we needed a breather.

Oh, and the food – delicious! We couldn’t film inside the Hypermarket, but trust me, the lunch we had at Lulu Mall was amazing. If you love food and shopping, this is the spot.

After a marathon shopping session, we decided to squeeze in one more adventure – Earth Center Jatayu. It’s a new tourist spot with trekking and all sorts of cool stuff. But since it wasn’t open, we settled for checking out the giant bird sculpture at the top.

Getting on the cable car turned into a bit of a waiting game, thanks to a sudden rain shower. But once we got on, the view was stunning – greenery everywhere, mist in the air, and a giant rock that was perfect for pictures.

And then, the rain decided to join the party. Within minutes, our sunny day turned into a rainy one. We all huddled in one room, turning it into an impromptu party. I managed to grab a few videos during the rain – check them out in the video!

So, Day Three ended with the Jatayu Earth Center. Rain cut our visit short, but the memories will last forever.

Now, friends, which place would you prefer – the shopping paradise of Lulu Mall or the misty adventure at Jatayu Earth Center? Drop your thoughts in the comments! And if you want more travel stories, let us know. There are more adventures on the horizon, and we’d love to have you with us. Until next time, happy travels!
