Palak Paneer

Palak Paneer

Ingredients:

Palak                       – 11/2 cup finely chopped
Paneer                     -150 g
onion                      -1
tomato                     -2 small
ginger                      -1 clove size
garlic                       – 1 clove
cumin powder         -1 tsp
garam masala          -1/2 tsp
chilli powder           -11/2 tsp
cumin seeds             -1/2 tsp
heavy cream             -1/4 cup
salt                            -to taste

 

Method:

  • In a pan heat oil and fry cubed onions until well transparent.
  • Add the chopped tomato ,ginger and garlic  and mix well.
  • .Add the chopped palak and fry for a minute.
  • Put salt ,chilli powder, cumin powder, garam masala and fry until well cooked.
  • Allow the mixture to cool and blend it into a fine paste.
  • Now heat little oil in a kadai and temper with cumin seeds.
  • Pour the ground paste with 11/2 cups of water(you can more according to desired consistency)
  • When it starts boiling add paneer cubes and heavy cream

  • Serve with Chapathi/Naan
